Info session on smart buildings in H2020 - policy framework, projects and calls at SP2018 Conference

The challenges of reducing energy consumption and GHG emissions from buildings, the digitalisation of energy and the increasing flexibility in the energy system all require the uptake of smarter buildings in the EU. With a supportive energy policy framework, new H2020 projects on smart buildings develop, demonstrate and provide feedback to policy making on innovative solutions in this field, and there are also new funding opportunities.

This session on smart buildings in H2020, hosted by the European Commission DG Energy and Executive Agency for SME's (EASME) within SP2018 Conference, will focus on the new policy framework, an overview of H2020 projects and future funding for smart buildings as well as a discussion on the related challenges, including interoperability and buildings (big) data (see agenda).

It will take place on 27 June 2018 from 14:00 to 17:30 in Aix-les-Bains (France).
